SMF/Mobile is the mobile photometric measurement system of AFL equipment, designed, developed and manufactured to perform the measurement of airfield lights on the move along runways and taxiways in non-stop mode in compliance with ICAO/EASA recommendations.

  SMF/Mobile is a compact system that can be easily installed on the front of any commercial vehicle, or a trailer, suitable to operate on the airfield. The Customer can decide for a fixed installation on a dedicated vehicle or for temporary installation. SMF/Mobile can be installed in the vertical way of the vehicle or the trailer to make easier and faster the measurement of the “transversal” AFL subsystems (i.e. stop bar).

  SMF/Mobile allows the measurement of APRON floodlights in compliance with recommendations given in ICAO ADM Part. 4 Doc. 9157 – Chap. 13 and EASA.

  SMF/Mobile allows the measurement of Approach flashing lights in compliance with ICAO ADM Part. 4 Doc. 9157 – Chap. 18.

  SMF/Mobile is easy to use, being the operator assisted step-by-step by the system software running on the on-board PC.

  SMF/Mobile measuring components may be shared with workshop AFL assessment equipment (SMF/Lab) to get a cost effective AGL maintenance systems set.

  SMF/MCT is an equipment designed to check the calibration of optical sensors installed on SMF/Mobile, SMF/Lab, & SMF/Table and then to guarantee the specified accuracy in measurement.

  SMF/MCT is based on stable reference light, a reference instrument (Minolta T-10M) and a dedicated software.
